Northline Architects
A portfolio that feels like walking through the buildings.
01Introduction
Northline is a concept portfolio for an architecture practice known for light-filled public buildings.
02The challenge
The challenge
Architecture portfolios often reduce buildings to thumbnails. The practice wanted visitors to understand space, light and sequence.
03Creative direction
The idea in one move.
Projects are presented as walks: plans draw themselves as you scroll and images open like doors in the order a visitor would experience the building.

04Design exploration
Studies before decisions.
We tested 3D walkthroughs and decided against them. Drawn plans with sequenced photography told the story faster and loaded in a fraction of the time.
05Development and implementation
Built to the same standard as it looks.
Classic WordPress theme with custom blocks for plans, sequences and credits, so the studio can publish new projects without touching code.

07Results and outcomes
What thedirection delivers.
